    3. Hello, For years, I've been trying to find information about my dad's US Navy ship and its activities. I write here every year or so, just to see if someone might've wandered in who knows about it. The ship was USS ARD-24. ARDs were Auxiliary Repair Drydocks, and did *not* have any other name except USS ARD and a number. ARD-24 was stationed in the Pacific, docked at Apra Harbor, Guam. It repaired mostly submarines. I've obtained the deck log, which is very scant. I'm going to list the names of the men who were on this ship, in hopes that some of them, or their families, might happen across this message. I do have each of their service numbers. It was a relatively small crew, so I hope you can bear with me. If you are, or know, or know about any of the men on this list, or about this ship, please contact me. USS ARD 24 Commanded by L.Sederholt Lieutenant (jg) Thomas R.
