Nancy: Keep this in mind. While you may find photos in a pers. file, it would be better to look in the unit that issued the awards by date of iissue. That is for each award he received there would be an order to issue the award posted in his 201 file . All records of awards are permanent files ! ie held in archives. Give the NARA the unit and date of the order, ask about photos.
