Visitation for Mr. Lisle was 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at Fredericks Funeral Home. Mr. Lisle was born February 10, 1942 and passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2006 at his residence in Opelika. Mr. Lisle entered the U.S. Army in 1944 and served in France 9th Armored and 52nd Armored Infantry Battalion, Combat service in Luxemburg, Belgium, Central Germany, and Rhineland. Mr. Lisle received a Purple Heart for wounds sustained in battle in Germany. Mr. Lisle is survived by his wife Pat Lisle, one son, Wayne (Beverly) Lisle; two daughters, Ann (David) Guinn, and Gail Tolbert; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
