    2. Nancy, I would agree with Paul. While I would go ahead with the new SF-180 request for military I.D. photos, honestly, I would say not to expect any to be found on that level. Mainly because of the fire of 1973 that destroyed roughly 80% of the Army and Army Air Corps records. Other branches were unaffected and they stand a better chance of receiving them, should they exist. So, I believe Paul's approach to be the best chance of getting a military photograph. Remember though, that many awards were given in the field, in hasty ceremonies. So photos for lesser awards were not taken. Mostly Silver Star, DSC/DSM,DFC, and of course the Medal of Honor. Rick

    3. Rick, What about the county that he enlisted from.I got a photo from the county website in my state where my dad lived at the time he enlisted.Just a thought.
