In 2005 the Army Medal Office at Droitwich, Worcestershire, was amalgamated with the medal offices from the other services to form the MOD Medal Office, which is based at RAF Innsworth. See the Ministry of Defence webpage at http://www.mod.uk/DefenceInternet/DefenceFor/Veterans/Medals/ for some background, and be sure to check out the links at the right-hand side of that page for useful information about medals.
