    2. Adrienne, First, assuming you know your friends' branch of service, but I believe it's safe to assume U.S. Army. If you know his unit of assignment at the time of his arrival (Example: 38th Inf Regiment), simply research the station and/or troop list for that unit or next senior unit of assignment/attachment. You will have to determine whether it is an Army Air Corps or not, but post his unit on this board and that can be quickly answered. After that, it will involve some time but again, this board can help you with his order of battle. When you have established that, the station /troop list will be relatively easy to find and should give you the town or area they were stationed and for how long. Rick
