    3. Hi My Grandfathers name was William Henry Foxcroft and he was born 11th July 1915 in Liverpool, England and served in the British Army. I don't know about the regiment(s) he was in but he moved around a bit, I've been told he started in the Kings Regiment, which is feasible since it was based in Liverpool!!. I have a picture of him in uniform taken in France, on the arm is 'Pegasus' and I have been told he was in the 6th Airborne at that time. My father has told me that he saw action in Norway at one point, attacking something to do with Radar???. That's about all I have, he didn't talk of the war - but then I don't expect I'd want to either. Many thanks Dave -----Original Message----- From: Delilah [mailto:diamond6468@mindspring.com] Sent: 19 May 2006 23:03 To: WORLDWAR2-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [WORLD WAR II] WWII - service number, regiment etc If you got his info, get a SF180, fill it out and send it in - it takes a few months for them to get back to you - if you want us to help more, let start with what you know about your grandfather; name, DOB, which service, etc ----- Original Message ----- From: "dave" <davefoxcroft@foxcroft-family.org.uk> To: <WORLDWAR2-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, May 19, 2006 12:56 PM Subject: RE: [WORLD WAR II] WWII - service number, regiment etc | | | Hi All | | Apologies for the last message something went wrong somewhere !!!! | | I want to get my Grandfathers service records but I don't have any of the | details required. | | Can anyone suggest how I might obtain them? | | Thanks | | Dave | | | ==== WORLDWAR2 Mailing List ==== | We welcome tributes of your World War II ancestors.
