I wanted to make an offer to digest readers. Digest used to arrive in mime to our digest subscribers. In OE and such, digest messages came as attachments. The new setting is set in plain text. I can individually change digest people back to mime and they should receive the digests they way they did before. If your digests have change since the server switch please let me know OFF list-you will need to fix the address- and I will change it back for you. If that is what you want-AOL people want to leave in plain text or they will have change to attachments for digests. AOL is still having problems recognizing the new server we on. Thanks, margy list admin.

All the new migrated lists were down today., looks like we just got back up again. I was one of the admins helping with the Beta testing of the new server so the rest my lists were transferred on Wednesday. There is a schedule for the migration of the other lists. http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/migrate_sched.html Some might notice we have a new bottom tagline that has to be there. The how to unsubscribe notice. Instead of the 10 roving taglines I used to use, only 1 is now allowed. I have not composed it yet for this list, but will soon. It will be a reminder that we are an international list and the date style we need to avoid confusion. Please bear with us as we adjust and tweak the new system of mail delivery. Russians Find Wreckage of U.S. Submarine AP MOSCOW (Aug. 17) - Russian divers have spotted the wreckage of a legendary U.S. submarine that was lost in the Pacific in 1943, a Russian news agency reported Thursday. The ITAR-Tass news agency said that a diving team from the Far Eastern State Technological University in Vladivostok found the USS Wahoo in the La Perouse Strait and took pictures of it during a recent expedition. It didn't give further details. Under the command of Dudley "Mush" Morton, the Wahoo became one of the most famous U.S. submarines of World War II. With 19 Japanese ships sunk, Morton was ranked as one of the war's top three sub skippers. The Wahoo was sunk by the Japanese navy as it returned from its seventh patrol on Oct. 11, 1943. All 79 crewmen died.
