I am new to the list and seeking information on my gggrandmother, Georgia Wooten who married an unknown Isaacs. Georgia was born Oct. 18(?), 1854 in Wayne Co., West Virginia and died Feb. 12, 1935 in Salem, Oregon. Her death certificate lists her parents as Castle Wooten / Wooton (?) from W.V. and Esire (???) Justice or Jestire (?), also of W.V. The writing is extremely difficult to decipher! I believe that Georgia and her husband had 5 children: Della (Frost), Natalie (Cox), Mabel (O'Neal), Milo, and my ggrandmother, Myrtle Virginia Isaacs. Myrtle and her husband had 6 children. My grandmother was the eldest and they were orphaned when she was 12 years old. Therefore, info is truly hard to come by! I hope someone can make a connection.
