    3. I'm new to the list and hope to find someone with information on Ann WOOTEN, b ca 1754 NC married Lewis PIERCE (b ca 1755, prbly NC) abt 1783, prbly in NC. Their son, my ancestor, Jeremiah PIERCE, was b ca 1783 NC and married Nancy MCLAIN 20 Nov 1805 in Oglethorpe Co, GA. Lewis and his family removed to GA by 1789, when Lewis appears on the Wilkes Co Militia Roster. Children born in GA: Ann (Nancy), b ca 1792 (md Joseph BRIDGES), Rebecca, b ca 1798 (md Daniel MALONE), and probably Lewis P., b ca 1795, apparently died before 1850. Lewis and Ann may have had other children that I am unaware of at this time. Lewis and his family moved to Covington Co, MS by 1820. Lewis PIERCE died 1833, Ann WOOTEN Pierce died July, 1853, both in Covington Co. Jeremiah PIERCE moved his family to Mobile Co, AL. Daniel and Rebecca PIERCE MALONE were on the 1850 Lawrence Co, MS census. Joseph and Nancy PIERCE BRIDGES were on the 1850 Covington Co, MS census. Much of my information comes from the pension application of Joseph BRIDGES on Lewis PIERCE's Revolutionary service. I have not been successful in finding Ann WOOTEN PIERCE's parents and would love to hear from anyone with information that may help me place her with the proper family. Thanks, Sherry Owens [email protected]
