Angie Melton Wooton - Durant - OK 12/31/1987 Graveside service for Angie Melton Wooton, 79, who died Wednesday in the Durant Hospital, will be at 4 p.m. toady at Highland Cemetery, with the Rev. Bill Parsons officiating. Dalton-Holmes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Wooton was born Feb. 19, 1908, in Durant. A lifelong Durant resident, she was a housewife and a member of the Nazarene church in Durant. She married Isaac W. Wooton Dec. 23, 1931, in Durant, and he died Oct. 8, 1958. Surviving are two daughters, Anna Abbott of Jackson, Ga., Jewel Pope of Durant; two brothers, H. B. Melton of Albuquerque, N.M., John Melton of Calera; two sisters, Mary Frances Foster of Albuquerque, Edna Cotton of Wewoka, Okla,; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
