The following information was received for the family of James Garrett: WHITLEY/WOOTEN - Marriage 12/26/1825 in Johnston, Co., NC: Daniel R. WHITLEY (1802-1856) married Sarah WOOTEN (1810-1850). The couple moved, along with other family members, to Henry Co., TN for a very short period in early 1830s, then settled in Tipton Co., TN. Daniel and Sarah are buried in a cemetery on the grounds of their original property, Red Bud plantation, in Tipton Co., TN. This is my only WOOTEN connection. Can anyone provide additional information about Sarah's parents or siblings?
