    3. Hi, I extracted the following from a message that appeared earlier on the list. I am particularly interested in Moses Wootan because of the Illinois connection. My wife's ancestry traces back to James A. (Mes) Wooton (b. ca 1832) who is recorded as being born in Illinois but who moved to Texas. As Moses was already in Texas at the time of James' birth, he is more likely to be James' grandfather than father. Does anyone have any information on the family of Moses Wootan that remained in Illinois when he moved to Tennessee and then to Texas? Thanks for all assistance. Conrad >> THIRD GENERATION >> >> 6.
