Looking for descendants of Maj. Thomas Jones Wooten, Oct.19,1840-Nov.26,1923. He was born in Columbus Co. NC ,near Whiteville, and served in the CSA, after the war he lived in Maxton, Robeson Co., NC. He was married to Carrie McNair, Oct.2, 1850-June 25,1915. For several years prior to his death he lived in Camden, SC where most of his children were living, and he made his home with them. He was the son of Richard Wooten and grandson of Shadrach Wooten.
