I am seeking information on the ancestry of ISRAEL WOOTAN (5 Aug 1804 - 20 Dec 1850). Married to Susan Jane Rhodcliff Shaw 20 May 1824. He seemed to be born in S Carolina and he lived most of his life in Mississippi (Lauderdale Co). I am new to this and I don't really know what would help you in case you do have anything.
