I believe it appeared August 21, 1890. } May Wooten, col., was shot by Sheriff Counce on the night of Aug 11, while resisting arrest, died about one o'clock Sunday morning. } Sheriff Counce waived examination before Squire Martin Monday and was bound over the next term of the circuit court.
