I need some help..my daughter's father was James Wesley Wooten (living) originally from Wahalla, Oconee Co., SC. His father was Wess (as I understood at the time) and Wess' parents lived up the mountain near Salem. Wess married a lady, first name unknown but her surname was HENRY. The Henry's are suppose to be fullblood Cherokee and live on the reservation.. There are still today many related Wooten families in the Walhalla/Seneca area (Seneca is where we lived).
