Wooten List: I received the information below by e-mail quite a while ago and had planned to go to the library to look through the materials. I am pretty sure that Richard had some Gallia County, Oh. and Surry County N.N.Wooten information that I have never seen. I am stll trying to connect the Wootens from the two counties. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Wooten and Related Families Association" Richard Wooton's collection of Wooten genealogy and WARFA materials was donated to the Special Collections at the Joyner Library at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. The Joyner Library is on-line, but the catalog of the Special Collections is not. I understand the collection contains all his books, newsletters, photographs of tombstones and properties, etc. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I e-mailed the library and was told that they only have the quarterlies and the special studies; no other documents. Has anyone been to the library and looked at the collection? I hesitate to travel from Washington State to North Carolina for only quarterlies and Special Studies. W. Paul Wooten
