I was wondering if you might would know, or have any information in the following issues. There was a Henry Wooton, born about 1805 in Iredell County, and was orphaned in 1811 or 1812, I found an entry in the session of February 1812 court for Iredell, that stated that Henry was bound to Samuel Henry to learn to make shoes. Any idea who Henry's father was, and why would not any of the other Wooton families have taken him in. Moses, born around 1799, married to Elizabeth Day, has three sons listed in the 1840 Iredell census. Do you know who they are. I believe that two of them may have been Owen and perhaps Madison Heath, ant idea who could be the third who was born around 1820. One more thing, there was a Ransom, born aroud 1826 in Iredell and moved to Indiana or Illinois, who was a shoemaker. I have a Ransom born in 1890 who was a grandson of Moses and Nancy Whitlock. Moses born around 1815 or 18! 25, depending on the census, was a farmer in Iredell. Any information appreciated. Thanks for reading this.
