Wooten - b. 1811, d.1864. married 1859 in Spartanburg, SC to Elizabeth Catherine Clotfelder - b.1834, d.1865. Joseph died as a confederate soldier in Battle of Petersburg in VA.They had on child a son, Peter Edmond Wooten, (my grandfather). It is believed Elizabeth died in childbirth leaving Peter Edmond an orphan. P.E. Wooten was raised by Elizabeth's sister Sarah Clotfelder and husband John Rome in NC. Joseph Wooten is a brick wall. Any info?
