My Wooten line starts with Henry W. Wooten, b 1814, d 1882, a native of Delaware. He settled in Shelby County, Missouri 1829. Unknown when he moved to Pike County, Missouri. He was well read in Law and engaged in the livery stable and stage coach business where he operated six lines. Married Sarah Templeton Bishop, marriage date unknown. Her family lived in Pike County.
