I'm looking for Riley Wooten, who was born c. 1806 in Surry Cty. He married Theodocia ("Docey") Harrison there in 1823. Somewhere around 1830-1840, Riley & Docey moved to Marion County, Indiana. They are probably the parents of Ransom Wooten, my gg-grandfather, who was born c. 1823 in Surry County. I'm having very little luck getting these Wootens connected to the rest of the Wooten clan in NC. Do you have any info on Riley, Docey or Ransom? Thanks, Penny Williams pjg@cox.net
