Although I believe your Benjamin is related to our Wooten family from NC., we have recently learned that our Benjamin had 2 brothers, John and Thomas W., 3 sisters, Patience, Nancy and Polley. Our Benjamin was married to woman named Hannah. We believe they lived in the Bluff Creek area, Smith Co., TN. We located the will of Benjamin's father. William Wootten. The name was spelled Wootten, however, it was changed to Wooten later on. The will was written by someone other than William so, the spelling could have been a mistake. We don't know for sure.
