Fellow Wootten researchers: Gale sent a note to Lower-Delmarva Roots with a question on Wooten and Outen in Georgia. Does anyone wish to opine on these changelings?? On pg. 225 & 226 respectively are listed Moses Outen and Aaron Outen. The Little River Baptist Church Minutes, also posted at this website, mention Moses Wooten (abt 1802) and Aaron Wooten (1805). There are no WOOTEN's listed on the 1800 census and there are no OUTEN's listed in the church record. The 1810 census index lists these same OUTEN's but no WOOTEN'S. To me, though I have not looked further afield, these look like the same people. Gale
