He started out at First National, then the 3rd National, then to Farmers National Bank where in ca 1917 he became the President of the bank. He was a member of KY Bankers Assoc., Masonic Lodge, and the Glasgow Baptist Church; he was the Director of the First Federal Building and Loan Assoc. After 7 years of post-grad he rec'd a fellowship in opthalmogy at Wiler Institute of John Hopkins. He was on the teaching staff of Tulane for 38 years, retiring 1978 as Prof of Clinical Opthalmogy. He served in WWII as a Major in the US Army with 2 years in North Aferica and Italy. In Private practice in New Orleans 1941-1982. Tony states here that he took info from an obit sent by M. Tomaselli; He left a considerable estate to charities, schoolarships, and the Museum of the Barrens, info from J.
