I have 2 Richard L's. Both are sons of Richard; one is Richard L. married to Julia Loftin; the other is Richard Lafayette, married to Nancy Susan ???. They are cousins...The Lafayette w/Nancy Susan is a grandson of Shadrach, son of John and his first wife; and the Richard L.w/Julia Loftin is the GRANDSON of John and his second wife, Mary Johnston. (talk about confusing!) I don't know what to do with this info. I only have a John L. Wooten for Richard L. No kids listed for Lafayette...help?

But his parents were Levi Wooten and Jemima Breler. Levi was born 1773 in Pitt Co., NC; died 11 Aug 1817 in Beaufort, Hampton, SC. Levi was the son of John Wooten of Isle of Wight, VA, 1724. This is my only possible. Tell me if it fits! I'd love to have JW's spouse and children in my file... Terrie
