Hi, I am still looking for Rachel WOOTEN, who married John CANNON in 1819 Caldwell Co., KY. I know that this was a 2nd, if not 3rd marriage for him, so it could be the same for her. Does anyone have a male WOOTEN who died in Caldwell Co., KY sometime before 1819?? thanks, Janice (Cannon)

However, it is a good place to begin your research. Thanks, Martha Wooten Solomon

My greatgrandfather was James E. Wooten, born in Pike County, Missouri. I do not know his middle name. His father was Henry W. P. (or H.P. Wooten) who was born in Delaware. I have very little on that family. James E. Wooten married Patience Early. My grandmother Abbie Wooten was born in the 1860's. Does this fit into you family of Wooten's? I know I visited with you once before and it seemed that our lines didn't merge anywhere that I could locate. I have since discovered the Delaware connection, and searching it out I find that there were several Wooten families there in the 1700's. They could have moved on South since that time but I have no information of a later date. Would appreciate a reply IF you have a known connection. Thanks for your help to so many of the Wooten's.
