Henry Woolsey b. 1767 ............... +Sarah Ann Woolsey b. 1762 .................4 Henry Woolsey jr. b. 1793 ................. + Polly Somers (2/9/1801-2/12/1872) Sarah Ann Woolsey b. 1762 is the granddaughter of Richard and Sarah and daughter of Henry Woolsey(b. 1734) and Abigail Lyon (b. 1730-1830). They married 1784. Brief histories of the area indicate they came into Willoughby abt. 1816 along with Benjamin Woolsey b. 1787 and Richard Woolsey b. 1795. Benjamin married Keziah Hall abt.. 1822. Census in 1820 shows 1) Henry sr. male (1 @16-18); 3@16-26; 1 @ >45 females 1 @ >45 2) Benjamin; 1 male 26-45 and 1 female 26-45; no children. Census in 1830 shows 1) Henry sr. male; 1 @< 5 ; i @ 60-70 female 1 @ 60-70; 1 @ 80-90; 1 @90-100; 2) Henry jr. male; 1 @ 20-30; 1 @ 30-40; female 2 @ <5; 1 @ 20-30 3) Benjamin male; 1 @ 15-20; 1 @ 40-50; 1 @ 70-80; female 1 @ 40-50; 1 @ 50-60; 4) Richard male 1 @ <5; 1 @ 30-40 female 1 @ 5-10; 1 @ 30-40 Note: Richard married Adah Hubbard 9 Nov 1821 in Lake Co. 5) Elijah male 1@20-30; female 1 @ 20-30.No children Harvey was born 1826 and is < 5yrs in 1830. All of the above owned land very close to each other. Additional parental candidates arrived in close-by Ashtabula county in the same time frame. Still searching.
