Hi! I'm new to the list. Just recieved my husband's g grandfather's death certificate, and learned that his gg grandmother's maiden name is Woolsey. According to the dc, it states that Catherine Woolsey was born in Iron Co., MO. In the 1850 & 1860 census, for Ste. Genevieve Co., MO, it lists her as being born in KY. Catherine was born about 1805, and married Henry R. Resinger, about 1825 - were married in either MO or IL. Their first child was born in IL, the second in MO, and the next two in IL, the remaining 7 children were all born in Ste. Genevieve Co., MO. Catherine died 9 Oct 1877 (this could be a burial date) and was buried in Fredericktown, Madison Co., MO. Other than a couple of land records, this is all the information that I have on Catherine.
