    3. To all interested Woolseys Because of an upcoming Coats/Wilson Family Reunion June 30 in Atoka, OK, I set up a Photo website on msn.communities so everyone could share photos of the Coate/McMillan(my maiden name)/WOOLSEY Long,Houser/Howser,Evans,Philips,Sutton,Stacey and a few I'm sure I forgot. Once I got the site set up, like Topsy, it grew. It now includes WOOLSEYS and Housers/Howsers--James Henderson WOOLSEY and wife Sarah Catherine Adaline Houser/Howser WOOLSEY. James was son of George WOOLSEY and wife Sarah? Sally Stargell (German speaking people I talk to, say the Stargell has to be spelled wrong-probably a corruption of something sounding similar to the record keeper.) Or, maybe not so similar if record keeper was in bad mood:). Sarah Catherine Adaline (called Adaline by family and on US Census records), was the dau of John Howser/Hauser/Houser, b 1820 Germany and Eva Emeline Long, b VA or TN. John Howser died in the Civil War 1865 bur AR, Emeline died 1902 MO. James Henderson WOOLSEY was Union vet, drew pension until death 1922. Adaline drew his pension until her death in 1944. James has a GAR headstone (Grand Army of the Republic). Both James H. and Sarah Catherine Adaline Houser/Howser WOOLSEY are buried in Mt. View Cem, Hackett, Sebastian Co, AR. If you are a descendant of James Henderson Woolsey or just interested in the photos, I invite you to visit, drop me an email and I'll send an invitation. It is a closed community but I'm willing to share my photos and portraits, some that were shared with me.
