Woolsey and Sarah Huffman of Edmonson Co., Kentucky, and Pike Co., Ind. William Hopkins Woolsey was the son of Temple Woolsey and Maria Jane Johnson of Edmonson Co., KY and Pike Co., Ind. Temple Woolsey was the son of William Hopkins Woolsey and Celia Houchin. They lived about six miles from the Mammouth Caves in Edmonson Co., KY. William Hopkins Woolsey was the son of George Woolsey (Sr.) and Mary Hopkins of Washington Co., VA and Edmondson Co., KY. George Woolsey (Sr.) was the s/o of the Reverend Thomas Woolsey and Sarah (possibly Pierce??) of Ulster Co., NY and the South Fork of the Holston River, near St. Clair's (Sinclair's) Bottoms, Washington County, Virginia.
