To Barbara Kalin Samardich and interested Woolsey researchers: Barbara, thank you for your post which I am now posting to the Woolsey List. I will answer your post a little later. Barbara sent the following: >From: "ARNOLD SAMARDICH" <ASAMARDICH@email.msn.com> >To: <wwwhit@integrityonline3.com> >Subject: Temple Woolsey >Date: Mon, 20 Mar 2000 22:05:34 -0800 >X-MSMail-Priority: Normal >X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 5.00.2615.200 >X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V5.00.2615.200 >X-RCPT-TO: <wwwhit@integrityonline3.com> > >Dear Mr. Whitaker, > >My great-grandfather was Felix G. Woolsey, son of Chester Porter Woolsey and Nancy Yeager. Old family records are somewhat unclear in that it appears Felix had 4 other siblings: Nancy E. Woolsey, born in 1864; Milford Woolsey, born in 1866; Ewing Woolsey, born in 1869; and Camilla G. Woolsey, born in 1871. From reading your correspondence with other Woolsey descendants, I thought you might shed some light on these names. Also, on the same page, appear the following names : Missouri J. Woolsey, born 1849 in Edmonson County, Kentucky; Ruthie Ann Woolsey, born in 1851; Emily J. Woolsey, born in 1854; and Eliza P. Woolsey, born in 1856. I can't connect these to anyone, as the descendant lines are blurred out. However, William Harrison Woolsey, born in 1864 (who I assume is the same as the son of Temple Woolsey) is on the same line. So...I am thinking perhaps these are also offspring of Temple???? >Any light you could shed on these names would be appreciated. > > Barbara Kalin Samardich > asamardich@email.msn.com >
