Hi Marjorie: Found this reference to Isaac G. Woolsey while going through my database. I believe the John C. Woolsey mentioned here is the father of my gggrandmother, Nancy Marietta Woolsey who married John Adams Snead (think I sent you his memorium - Antioch Baptist Church, Fayette Co, Woolsey Ga which names John C. Snead as the father of John Snead's second wife, Nancy M. Woolsey). This is the closest I have come in confirming (loosely!) a family connection to Isaac. Nancy had a sister, Agnes. She and the girls were ophaned at some point. The 1870 Clinton Co Kentucky census shows a John C. Woolsey 51, Nancy M. , Agnes, Elizabeth . I speculate John C. Woolsey and Elizabeth(I assume this is another daugher of John C.) probably died before the 1880 census. Also, Nancy M. and John Snead lived in Locust Grove, Ga for a time (as did Isaac). Isaac baptized John Snead in 1881, and Nancy M. and John Snead's son, John C. Woolsey was born in Woolsey, Ga (June 1, 1889). Hope this isn't too overwhelming and I appologize for any repetition of information. Sincerely, Gail -----Original Message----- From: Wilford W.
