I thought that may indeed be the case, but I have the following: (From memory right now, I'll post the full source and quote later) During the Civil War there was a Missouri Northern Militia that surprised a Southern band of guerilla raiders. There was a skirmish and one of the Northern Militia was killed and also a young man named Noah Woolsey, son of Stephen C. Woolsey - there was no date of the source but probably about 1863-65.
