W. R., Purton, born say 1861 Jane WOOLFORD, 28, wife, Monkton Deverill, born say 1863 Ernest WOOLFORD, 3, son, Purton, born say 1888 Florence WOOLFORD, 2, daughter, Purton, born say 1889 You have a John & Maria WOOLFORD without children named Jessie & Frederick. Two separate families I would imagine. Who are the siblings of Ernst Edward WOOLFORD? This may bring a clue as to which one of the families above are his. I am not as familiar with what type of records can be used in England. Are obituaries available? Would checking this resource tell you who his parents were, siblings, etc.? By the way, I can't believe the frequency of the name Lily & Florence in reference to the name WOOLFORD, my grandmother was a Lily Florence and did not know how frequently this name was used until I looked at the census reports!
