Can anyone help Sue Lewis whose grandfather was Ernst Edward WOOLFORD. She had found a birth certificate for Ernst Edward Woolford born 5 Sep 1888 in Studley, Lydiard Tregooze, son of John & Maria (nee BARNES) Woolford .This fitted with the 1891 census: John Woolford, 40, Berks Baulking, Faringdon Maria Woolford, 40, Oxon, Standlake, Whitney Bertha Woolford, 18, Berks, Baulking, Faringdon Walter Woolford, 14, Berks, Lambourne Lily F. Woolford, 10,Berks, Baulking, Faringdon Gilbert, 8, Wilys Stratton, Swindon George, 4 or 7, Berks, Faringdon Phyllis E., 6, Berks, Baulking, Faringdon Ernest E., 2, Wilts Studley, Swindon However she then found in the 1891 Census at 154 Witts Lane, Purton the following: John Woolford, Head, M. 30, born Purton Jane Woolford, wife, M, 28, born Monkton Deverill Ernest Woolford, son, 3, born Purton Florence J. Woolford, daughter, 2, born Purton There alse seems to be a birth of another Ernest Edward Woolford in 1888 in the Birth Indexes. So there seem to be two Ernest Woolfords of the same age born just a few miles from each other, both with father John. Does anyone belong to either of these families ?
