I ask this since I know that the Wolfords were connected with military people throughout history. In Williamsburg,Va. they told mr that a Col. Wolford was named as one of Gen. .George Washington's favorite officers. As a matter of fact, Gen. Sumpter and Col. Wolford attacked Lord Cornwallis at Camden N.C. and captured 360 men and 40 wagons of supplies.(they got wacked later by Cornwallis's Cavalry later in the Rev. War). Max Wolford Mickey
