    1. Re: WOOLFORD-D Digest V99 #23
    2. I know of a george Wolford, Orphan of a Civil War Soldier who was killed. Geo. was sent to an Orphan's School by his appointed guardian. George came from a long line of English Wolfords(Woolfords) and would not have spelled his name Wolfort.. I have records of his school costs paid by John Hammer of Somerset Co in 1660's. Geo's tuition came from the estates of Emmanuel and Conrad Wolford, both of whom I believe were killed in the Civil war. I'm interested in the Wolford Family reunion. When and where?
