I am still seeking William George WOOLFORD, b. 7 March 1867 in Shaw, Lydiard Millicent to Ellen WOOLFORD. William was born out of wedlock. At some point, William George m. Blanche BECKETT Austin although I've had not success in locating a marriage license. Blanche was married to Henry Thomas Austin on 3 May 1881 at Old St. Pancras parish church, Middlesex, London. Henry died 30 November 1888 in London. I am unaware of any children that may have been born during this seven year marriage. If anyone is available to check that I would sure appreciate it! My grandmother, Lily Florence WOOLFORD was b. 17 September 1895 to William George and Blanche on 9 Bournemouth Street, Clapham, London. At the time William George was working as a porter for the L. B. & S. C. Railway. However, he was dismissed for some infraction. My grandmother Lily was raised by William's mother and stepfather. I also do not know if William G. & Blanche had any other children. They were living in Nottingham in 1910 when Blanche died. William died in Chelsea Hospital 24 December 1938, no known family members (his daughter had left for Canada in 1912). Any help in any of these areas greatly appreciated! Janice List Owner
