    3. I accidentally deleted the posting tonight from the person looking for info in Wolford. I will attach an earlier posting from James Avery who is the person you are looking for. He sent me a newsletter The Wolford Connection some time ago and it is chock full of info. I will try scanning it and getting it sent to the list. I have other stuff the scan and send and hope to get to it one of these days. Subject: Re: Maryland Woolford family Resent-Date: Sat, 30 Jan 1999 10:25:11 -0800 (PST) Resent-From: WOOLFORD-L@rootsweb.com Date: Sat, 30 Jan 1999 13:24:53 EST From: WolfordGen@aol.com To: WOOLFORD-L@rootsweb.com I am interested in the WOLFORD -WOOLFORD-WOHLFORD families however you want to spell them. I have a lot of information from records on Dorchester Co and appreciate you all putting them together. My burning question is about those WOOLFORDs or whatever who might have migrated west. I can';t believe all of them stayed in Dorchester Co. Where did they go to? There are WOLFORDs in western MD. Where did htey come from? Filter south out of Somerset and Bedford Co? from some of the eastern counties of PA? or even follow the National Road west from Baltiomore area? Did any of the Dorchester Co WOOLFORDs take advantage of the Bounty lands in the west? I am not really concerned with the spelling of the name - just relationships and where they came from. I also have a Wolford/Wohlford Resource Center web page. If interested, e-mail me and I will send Hyperlink. Jim in Vermont
