The first known is Benjamin Woolford married Ann Orchard on 3rd December,1685 at Lydiard Tregoze, his son Benjamin was baptised at Lydiard T. on 11 Sep 1686 Benjamin2 married Mary Rose at Malmesbury on 22 May 1716 described as of Lydiard Tregoze. Benjamin and Mary's son Jame baptised 24 Sep 1725 also Lydiard T. married Mary Tinson 19 Sep 1742 at Cholderton Their son James Woolford baptised 24 September 1725 married Grace Young 6th May 1751 Brinkworth Wilts. James and Grace's son John Woolford baptised 24 March 1760 married Mary Young at Wootton Bassett 21st December 1784 John and Mary's son William Woolford baptised 2nd September 1787 at Lydiard Tregoze married Ann Eatwell on 14th September 1787 at Wootton Bassett. William and Ann's daughter Mary Jane married john Coxhead which brings me to the Australian connection as this family came to Australia. Mary's brother Richard Woolford had been sent out for poaching but this is another story. I will check for other Woolford arrivals as I have noticed some not connected with my lot.
