I am looking at the State of Missouri Death Certificate for Louisa Emelina ALLEN, am posting because the dates herein were slightly different than what I had and I am correcting to what is on her death certificate. Louisa EMELINE ALLEN d/o William ALLEN b. Tenn & Elizabeth "Betsy" STUBBLEFIELD b. Tenn. b. 14 Nov 1837 Oregon Co., Missouri d. 29 March 1915 Big Apple Twp., Oregon Co., Missouri m. 1) about 1859 Of Arkansas to Frederick WOOLFORD s/o Daniel WOOLFORD & Elizabeth BLOOM. Frederick was killed by bushwackers defending his property from attack bef . 31 August 1864. Louisa and children William Daniel & Elizabeth Perlina survived the attack after hiding. This was at Mammoth Springs, Arkansas. m. 2) 31 Aug 1864 Oregon Co., Mo. to Leonard S. HUFF s/o Leonard HUFF & Sarah MEREDITH Leonard S. HUFF died the next year 4 July 1916. Interestingly his death certificate is not to be found in the Missouri State death index which lends credibility to a claim told my Aunt Mary Lou that he died visiting relatives somewhere in Arkansas, which might account for no Missouri death certificate? age at death 78y 4m 14d cause of death pneumonia duration 10 days burial 29 March 1915 Koshkonong Cemetery, Koshkonong, Oregon Co., Missouri witness was N. B. ALLEN. This is her half brother Judge Napolean Bonaparte ALLEN of Thayer, Oregon Co., Missouri 1851-1941 he was the s/o William ALLEN & 2nd wife Matilda "Marthy" EVANS widow of William RAGAN. She married third WIlliam BLUE and at her death was one of the oldest citizens in Oregon Co. Mo//Randolph Co. Arkansas vicinty known as "Granny BLUE" she died in 1916 about 103 years old.
