    1. [WOOLFORD] Updated English Woolford Trees & DNA testing to establish the origins of different branches
    2. Peter Lowe
    3. Happy New Year to you all!! I have updated my Webpages and my trees on Rootsweb Worldconnect and would be pleased to hear of corrections and additions. My WOOLFORD trees principally relate to WOOLFORDs from Berkshire, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Buckinghamshire & London in England. My website: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~pnlowe/woolford.htm Rootsweb Worldconnect (tree pnlowe19): http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=pnlowe19 I am very keen to establish whether there was a single common male WOOLFORD ancestor from that area of England, and hence would encourage all WOOLFORD men to join a project based on a simple genealogical DNA test (Y chromosome markers). This can be done for free by requesting a kit here: http://www.smgf.org/pages/request_kit.jspx If you do this please let me know so I can follow up when the data is posted. or through a WOOLFORD/WOLFORD Project set up by the commercial lab FamilyTree DNA: https://www.familytreedna.com/surname_join.aspx?code=D24837&special=True http://www.worldfamilies.net/surnames/w/wolford/ I am happy to answer any questions about this type of simple genealogical DNA testing, as I know the subject can cause concern. Regards Peter -- Peter Lowe Hertford, England
