Have you checked out the website of "Roger Woolford Kin Of MD" by Deanna Marshall. I saw two David Woolfords listed, but no dates. Then there was one Ella listed and two Ellens. I suggest you search this website. Get back to me if you have any problem. Good Luck. E. Riley
Hi Jane, I believe that I have your Henry Woolford in my tree. He christened in Lydiard Millicent 21 Feb 1808. He died in 1862. He married Susanna Head 05 Nov 1831 in Lydiard Millicent. Their child , an unnamed male, was born and buried in Cinderford, Gloucestershire in 1841. As you can see, it loks as though this is your Henry. My email is afb@interbaun.com I have some more on the Woolfords. How do you connect? Cheerio from Edmonton, Canada, Tony Flemming-Blake.
Hi Jane Would this be Henry WOOLFORD who was living in Little Dean in 1841, and East Dean in 1851 and 1861? If not, please provide more details. If he is, he married Susanna HEAD in 1831 in Lydiard Millicent. He was son of William WOOLFORD & Elizabeth HINDER. I haven't tried to locate his baptism, though think he was born in Shaw or Nine Elms, Lydiard Millicent. More detail on this family are on my website: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~pnlowe/woolford.htm What is your connection with Henry ? Hello all, This is James Wall and I am the listowner for the LAMSON, PLIMPTON, and WOOLFORD lists and am sending this to all three at once. I was the victim of a trojan downloader spyware virus that shredded my XP operating system and removed my start buttons necessitating a complete memory wipe at the University of Wisconsin Comp Sci Department. I THINK I successfully moved my GEDCOM to an external memory drive before the wipe but until I get around to re-installing my Family Tree Maker program I can't be sure. But my ftw file was 4 gigs big so I do think I saved it, cross fingers. I lost everything I installed myself and had to replace windows XP with windows Vista so I am a new Vista user now. But I have lost my address book with all my collaborators e-mail addresses, any snail mail addresses and phone numbers that were not on note cards, and every single book mark I had (I had over 200 genealogy bookmarks easy so this really hurts). So if we have worked together, trade family information, or you want me to be able to contact off list please send me an e-mail OFF THE LIST with your contact info, please DO NOT reply directly to this list. I don't want to lose contact with anyone or the @#$% virus makers win. Thanks for your time and my apologies for having to post this in the first place. james wall ListOwner: Lamson, Plimpton, Woolford

Author: pnlowe Surnames: WOOLFORD Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.woolford/109.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Hi Sarah, I can't help directly with your WOOLFORD ancestry, as would need to know the names of Florence's parents, or at minimum her father. This can be found by purchasing her marriage certificate, or her birth certificate. Could she be the Florence M. Woolford whose birth was registered in September Quarter 1910 in Pontypridd Registration District, Glamorgan, Wales ? So I think you might need to spend £7 for a certificate to go further, unless your family knows something else. For example, do you know any siblings of Florence ? Do you already have Florence's marriage certificate ? Or anything else that might give a clue ? Once you get to your parents, we can find them on the 1901 census and maybe go back many generations through successive censuses Peter Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
