I am researching Hugh Woods of Cass co IN and Cumberland co PA. He was born around 1760 in Pennsylvania and he served in the Revolutionary War- a monument to his service was recently erected in Cass co IN. He served in the 4th Pennsylvania Continental Line. Hugh's wife was Barbara and she may be Barbara Snyder who married Hugh Woods in Berkeley co VA in 1798. Their first two children Sarah and Mary were born in PA and both women married sons of John FITZER. A son John WOODS was born somewhere in Kentucky and the rest of their children were born in Lawrence co OH (James, Andrew Jackson, Joseph). Hugh died in Cass co IN 2 Feb 1854. He appears to be the son of John WOODS of West Pennsboro in Cumberland co PA. I would like to exchange info with anyone researching this family. Thanks Pam Shelton-Anderson pshelton1@compuserve.com
