Married 2nd to NANCY ANN CADE LAYTON. WILLIAM HEZEKIAH WOOD was the son of HEZEKIAH WOOD and MARGARET WINGATE WOOD. WILLIAM HEZEKIAH WOOD served in Co. D 39th Alabama Regiment 1862 to Jan. 1865. I suspect this to be the above referenced parents of WILLIAM HEZEKIAH WOOD but have no conclusive proof of same. Would appreciate replies if anyone else is researching this same line.
