    1. [WOODS-L] new to the list
    2. Hi, I'm new to the list and I seem to have come at the best time possible. I belong to several other genealogy lists and it's a rare occasion that I open my mail box and find so many possible connections. I was almost feeling guilty about posting my own information to the list, but I know I can't be the only one this is helping. I'm actually shocked that someone is complaining about reading all of these e-mail's. After all, aren't we all searching on a continual basis for the same thing? This is genealogy isn't it? I have to read all of the messages to make sure that I don't leave any stone unturned. It would be my luck that I would delete the one message that is the next step to my genealogy quest! I don't know how long everyone's been on the list, but maybe some should go back and reread the "rules" for posting to the list. Being that I'm new, and having just read them, I seem to recall something about the delete key being a powerful tool. Now, I'll post my quest, but in another e-mail with a proper subject heading so as not to step on any toes or cause anyone to open their mailbox unnecessarily. -Christa Irvine
