My ancestor was Thomas WOODS b. 1798-1800 in Washington Co., PA. He was the son of William WOODS and Margaret BARNDOLLAR. Thomas married 10 Mar 1820 in Guernsy Co., OH to Cynthia SLATER daughter of David SLATER and Martha WEST. The children of Thomas and Cynthia were: Jacob md. Rebecca Ann ROBBERTS Cynthia md. Zadoc ELLIOT Margaret md. James MCKELVY Pleasy md. Phillip CLINGANSMITH Elizabeth md. William DEMPSTER Thomas md. Elizabeth SPELLHAMMER or Melissa GOLDEN?? Martha Jane md. John PRESTON Catherine md. Thomas DEMPSTER George Westly md. Emily WILLIAMS David Spencer md. Margaret Ann KELLY This family migrated to Morgan Co., OH. Thomas WOODS died there Apr 1848. Cynthia WOODS died c. 1891 in Guthrie Co., IA. Some of these children migrated to Guthrie Co., IA just after 1870. Any information on this family would be appreciated!!!!
