Joshua J. Wood was born April 1857 in Ohio according to the 1900 Census. He was married to a woman named Malinda Jane Smith in 1887; they had two kids, my grandfather Jeremiah Rush (b. 1888 in MO) and Mary R.(b. 1892 in MO). In 1897 he married Mary C. The Census records for 1900, 1910 and 1920 disagree on the birth places for Joshua's parents: either OH or VW for his father, and OH or MO for his mother. I welcome info on these completely unknown parents, and on what happened to Malinda who disappeared without a trace before Joshua's second marriage in 1897. Thanks for any help or suggestions!
