I had just as well join this roll call also. My brick wall as some might say is connecting Rebecca Wood B. 18 Apr 1828 in Richmond, Indiana to Valentine Wood and Jane Pleasant Thomas. Any help would be greatly appreciated. One Wood Family of Virginia Henry WOOD was born in London, England in July 3, 1696; came to Virginia and married Martha COX or COCKE 13 Oct 1723. Henry was the first Clark of Goochland Co.,Virginia. Henry and Martha had the following children: Valentine b. 2 Sep 1724 m. Lucy HENRY 1 Jan 1764 a sister of the great orator; Patrick Henry. Sally WOOD B. 4 Dec 1726. Sarah WOOD B 4 Dec 1726. Henry WOOD b.5 Aug 1729 Martha WOOD b. 12 Jul 1731 Patty WOOD b.7 Oct 1732 Judy WOOD b.30 Aug 1735 Valentine and Lucy HENRY had the following children: Henry WOOD b 7 Feb 1765. Sarah WOOD b 1 Mar. Martha WOOD b. 1768 Mary WOOD b. 8 May 1769 Valentine WOOD Chr 1772 Lucy WOOD b. 7 Jan 1774 Mary WOOD b.1775 John Henry b. 18 Jan 1776 Henry WOOD wife Unknown had the following children: Valentine WOOD b. 10 Mar 1787 m. Jane Pleasant THOMAS in Virginia. Died in Arcadia Hamilton Co., Indiana Henry WOOD David Julius WOOD b. 1791 m. Rebecca Tindall THOMAS sister of Jane Pleasant THOMAS. I believe that Valentine and Jane Pleasant are the Parents of my Rebecca WOOD, but I have had little or no success at being sure. Does any one have any information on this family.
